I first thought about creating Neon after listening to Doug's commentaries on the Buffy Season 4 DVDs. He made me cry with laughter and spoke with such passion and humour about his episodes, it really made the DVDs enjoyable for me. I felt I wanted to show my appreciation in the best way I know, by making a website and enlightening others about the greatness that is Doug.  I decided to call the fansite Neon as Doug always said his name on the Buffy credits should be in big, neon flashing lights for the world to see and that always made me smile. 

Two months later Neon is being launched. Admittedly, it's not in completed form but I actually have ME/CFS and figured it was better to get the website up and open as soon as possible. That way I can update frequently and viewers can appreciate Doug instead of me working away for months on end making a fansite that no-one can view until is finished. So please bare with me while I add more content and make this a great resource for fellow Doug fans. Neon is now proudly part of the Mini Sites network, which is a network devoted to fan sites that are elite, that have actual content and a bit of everything.

This is just a short post to say they won't be any updates for a week. I have an A Level Maths exam on Monday and I could do with knowing I don't have to update anything. But if I do do a update think of it as a bonus! Don't forget to vote for me at The Judgement Awards!

Sadly, Doug isn't involved with the Lost in Space project anymore. I have the latest news articles about this and the latest information about Lost in Space prior his exit in the news section. I've also added more competitions Neon is nominated at, places you can vote for Neon at and webrings Neon is listed in. Finally, I've changed the google ads slightly.

I've slightly updated the listed page and changed the google ads to make them stand out more. Sorry for doing this but every little helps my bank balance :) I've also added a banner for a Save Angel campaign, I should have added it months ago but I've never got around to it but I've finally done it today.
